did u know i was born with a head full of black hair and then it all fell out and grew in blonde? CRAZY.

the first real snow this winter. torie and i stumbled up the foothills that thursday evening.  boulder looked like one of those quaint little town christmas decorations like katelyn's mom has.  this adventure only reassured the feeling of comfort i have here in boulder.

pretty much sums up my day.  i've been sitting at my kitchen table since about noon watching the day pass through that window.  no homework was accomplished but i read the new yorker and worked on some writing.  Cups of tea and comfort food, my hazy mind tried to recall all the wonders of the weekend.

we sat here relaxing on the balcony when we got the call. we were going to allman brothers at red rocks. the sun blazed before it set. as we drove to red rocks i watched the sun set over the mountains as people from massachusetts, minnesota, and connecticut all talked about how much they love colorado. we scalped our tickets at dusk just as the last bits of sunlight were disappearing and by the time we were in the concert it was night. a very good night.

well im here. all moved in. just waiting for torie. until then ive been spending my time laying drunk on my couch watching dead poet society and eating organic pancakes with my roommates.

these two photos are how im feeling about each place.

ive been depressing myself lately by going thru old pictures of people i wish i was with. thought id share some classics. i want to gather all of my most favorite people from all the corners of the world and bring them to one spot so im not always missing someone no matter where i am.

i love the smoke leaking out of his mouth. i love the way the smoke coils around itself. i love the smoke reentering thru his nostrils. i love the resin on his lips. i love him.

i love that we are in callahan. i love that she is sitting in the smoking tree. i love that this is so typical us. i love that shes wearing the headband she accused me of stealing/losing then she found out a year later her sister stole it. i love her.

ive been 5 years old for the past 16 years

i have the best job. i play all day with these two darling little girls and get paid for it. the only difference between us is that im tall enough to reach the lollipops on top of the fridge and old enough to be left at home alone. other than that we all enjoy watching the pink panther, coloring, blowing bubbles, chalking on the driveway, carebear puzzles, swinging, and jumping on the trampoline. im plotting to take them to colorado with me.

i just spent 3 days in cincinnati. what a tease.

it was strange, i realized how much i love the grime. i used to hate the grime.

funny how much easier it is to appreciate a place after you leave.
